Forrest Glick Jr. took his classmates Wednesday evening along on a little journey during commencement exercises. Glick, 21, of east Des Moines, was the valedictorian of the class of 2012 at Ruby Van Meter School.
EAST- AND NORTH-SIDE ELEMENTARIES During student recess, Kidstriders participants have the option to walk or run on the jog walk trail. Over the course of the school year, 400 students completed more than 7,000 miles during their recess time.
